Obituaries

Funeral services for George William Hauesler of Arabi will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with burial following in Bay Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday, December 31 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Mr. Hauesler, 86, passed away Wednesday at Crisp Regional Hospital.  He was born in Crisp County and was the son of the late Charles William and Bessie Mae Hauesler.  He was a farmer and an active member of Bay Spring Baptist Church.  Mr. Hauesler was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II.  He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Ann and Norman Welch of Sandersville and  Jenny and Dennis Webb of Arabi; an adopted daughter, Vickie Royal of Arabi; a brother and his wife, Hewlett and Thelma Hauesler of Arabi; four grandchildren, Amanda Webb, Victoria Webb and her husband, Lamar, Andy Welch and his wife, Sharon and Charlie Welch and his wife, Christina; four great-grandchildren, Dixie Webb, Mason Welch, Will Welch and C.H. Welch; a sister-in-law, Lola Belle Hauesler of Arabi; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Syrelle "Dot" Helms Hauesler and two sisters, Doris H. West and Vernell Sims.
