Obituaries

Funeral services for Theodore Felix Myers of Warwick will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in the chapel of Rainey Family funeral Service.  Burial will follow in Warwick Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rainey Family Funeral Service Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Mr. Myers, 85, passed away  Monday at his residence.  He was born in Wilson, OK and was the son of the late Felix James and Agnes Ola Sharrock Myers.  Mr. Myers was retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of Warwick First Baptist Church.  He was a former mayor of Warwick and had also served with the Dougherty County Sheriff's Department.  Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Mary Earlene Myers of Warwick; three daughters and their husbands, Maryann and David Thompson of Columbia, SC, Susan Wright of Albany, and  Patricia and Gary Mitchell of Gainesville;  two sons, John Myers and his companion, Jack Mayes of Macon and Tommy and Sue Myers of Warwick; a step-son, Ronnie Royston of Shoals, IN;  a brother, George Myers of Tuscon, AZ;    13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, James Myers and a sister, Carole Costanino.
