Obituaries

Funeral services for Donna Maria Neighbors of Arabi will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Arabi Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in Arabi Cemetery.  The family will greet friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Service.  Mrs. Neighbors, 52, died Tuesday February 9 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  She was born in Turner County and was the daughter of the late Bobby B. and Zelene Jane Guthrie Gilbert.  She was a sales clerk at Hallmark Cards and an active member of Arabi Methodist Church.  Mrs. Neighbors is survived by her husband, Hugh Lee Neighbors of Arabi; two children, Patsy Clark and Chris Neighbors, both of Arabi; a brother, Bobby G. Gilbert, Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Arabi; three grandchildren, Baylee Poole, Garrett McCard and Leslee McCard, all of Arabi; and several nieces and nephews.  The family may be contacted at the residence of Carol Singley, 166 First Street East, Arabi, GA 31712.
