A graveside service for Jazee Farmer of Cordele will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Arabi Cemetery. Mrs. Farmer, 93, passed away Friday at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Crisp County and was the daughter of the late James Butler and Georgia Emma Hudson West. She was retired from Belk and was a member of Faith Primitive Baptist Church. Always active in the community, she served as a poll worker for the Crisp County Board of Elections for 50 years, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the United Daughter of the Confederacy. Mrs. Farmer is survived by her son and his wife, Carlton and Jean Farmer of Vienna; six grandchildren and their spouses, Larista and Clint Thompson, Carla Revels, Eric and Sonna Farmer, Brent Farmer, Jim and Marsha Pullen, and John and Juanita Pullen; and nine great-grandchildren,Cole Thompson, Brody Revels, Shelby Farmer, Jordan Farmer, Elizabeth Farmer, Lauren Pullen, Caleb Pullen, Davis Pullen and Hilton Pullen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harles Farmer; and siblings, Eunice West, Maggie West, David West, Emmett West, Raymond West, Felton West and Dean West.
