<description><![CDATA[A service in remembrance of Hurchel George of Pineview will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services.  The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.  Mr. George, 83, passed away Tuesday at Pineview Healthcare Center.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Robinson George.  Born in Etowah, AL, he was the son of the late P.B. and Lela Johnson George.  He was a retired Textile Mill Supervisor and a member of the Baptist Faith.  Mr. George is survived by five daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Jim Kelly of Vienna, Donna and Mickey Harrison of Bonaire, Judy Kessle of Wellington, AL, Linda and Dewey Mitchell of Cordele, and Linda  and Don Reed of Woodstock;  a son and his wife, George and LeAnne Jones of Mississippi; ten grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  The family respectfully requests that flowers not be given but that memorials in Mr. George&#039;s honor be sent to Pineview Healthcare Center, P.O. Box 148, Pineview, GA 31071. The family will receive friends at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the home of Pam Mullis, 1000 Drayton Loop, Vienna and again at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the home of Paula Faye Fultz Owens, 799 Old Hatley Road, Cordele.  Mr. Fultz passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence.  He was born in Pitts and was the son of the late Benjamin Earnest and Susie Mildred Simmons Fultz.  He was a member of the Christian faith and was the owner/manager of Wayne&#039;s B.P. Service Station.  Mr. Fultz is survived by four daughters, Patricia Carol Wilkes and her husband, Ray of Vienna, Ginger Ann Turner of Pitts, Teresa Joy McGinnis and Jim Osborne of Cordele and Shannon Leigh Fultz of Vienna; one brother Steve Fultz of Cordele; two sisters, Faye Woodruff and her husband, Larry of Atlanta and Merle Collins of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Monica and Jason Melton, Courtney Wilkes and Jon Farmer, Bryan Wilkes, Adam Turner and Shea Dominey, and Stephanie Turner, all of Vienna, Joy Fultz and Jeff Clark, Dina and Fred Wilkes, and Kayla Windham, all of Cordele, and Kurt Martin and Chris Martin, both of Elko; 13 great-grandchildren, Breanna Wilkes, Karlee Melton, McKenzie Melton, Ryleigh Wilkes, Blake Kirby, Brandon Kirby, Angela Fultz, Alexis Fultz, Peyton Clark, Haley Bolton, Mya Wilkes, Fred Wilkes, III, and Corbin Davison; two sisters-in-law, Arlene Fultz of Dublin and Paula Faye Fultz Owens of Cordele.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest Fultz and Julius R. Fultz, and a brother-in-law, John Collins.  Memorials in memory of Mr. Fultz may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. She was born in Crisp County and was the daughter of Jackie Marie Barefoot Jones of Cordele and Monte Clay Gustin of Comanche, TX.  She was a homemaker and devoted mother. The committal service will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Mr. Greene, 77, died Sunday at his residence after a brief illness.  He was born in Cordele and was the son of the late William Henry and Murriel Smith Greene.  He was the retired owner/operator of Greene Upholstery and Wood Shop and was an active member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.  Mr. Greene was the Scoutmaster for Troop 579 Boy Scouts of America sponsored by Pinecrest Baptist Church.  He was an avid gardener of both flowers and vegetables and served as Mess Sargant in the Georgia National Guard for 25 years.  Mr. Greene is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty E. Greene of Cobb;  three children, Shereé J. Greene of Hull, and Chris Greene and Randy Greene, both of Cordele;  and two brothers, William J. Greene and his wife, Frances of Cordele and Wayne Greene of Perry.  He was preceded in death by siblings, Thomas H. Greene,Toney L. Greene, Mary Jean Greene and Wynelle G. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.  Mr. Hughes, 38, died Sunday at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon as the result of injuries he received in an auto accident January 24, 2012.  A devoted husband and father of two children, Mr. Hughes was a Finishing Tech at Norbord.  He is survived by his wife, Amy Scarborough Hughes of Seville; a daughter and son, Lilyann Hughes and Jackson Hughes, both of Seville; his mother and step-father, Sheila and Paul Jones of Unadilla; his father and stepmother, Jerry and Valerie Hughes of Tifton; three brothers, John Pate of Cordele, Jeremy Hughes of Athens and Joseph Hughes and his wife, Rachel of Los Angeles, CA;  two sisters, Jessica Brown and her husband, C.J. of Cordele, and Lauren Hughes of Oakland, CA. She was retired from the Crisp County Sheriff&#039;s Department and a homemaker, and an active member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.  Mrs. Brogdon is survived by three children and their spouses, Joe Tally and Debbie Brogdon, David and Brenda Brogdon and Cathi B. Smith, all of Cordele; a sister, Viola Wilson of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Jodi Coleman, Alicia Scott, Michael Brogdon, Marilyn Brogdon, Brent Swindall and Danial Musselwhite; six great-grandchildren, Kalee Scott, Hunter Coleman, Hudson Coleman, Joshua Brogdon, Tommy Mayo and Nashea Mayo; and two great-great-grandchildren, Michael Mayo and Morgan Mayo. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, April and Edward Rigsby of Cordele; one sister, Ruth Anne Brown of Whittier, NC; grandchildren, Kim Phillips, Sarah Phillips, Lisa Hughes, Joseph Phillips, Dana Tucker, Aaron Tucker, Danielle Korns, Timothy Rigsby, Tracy Watson, Jason Turner, Brandy McKellar, Tiffany Luther and Jennifer Stutts; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was born in Crisp County and was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Katie Jewell Heitt Helms.  She was a homemaker and until recently had been an active member of Bay Spring Baptist Church.  Mrs. Hauesler is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Carol Hauesler of Arabi, Lee and Jana Hauesler of Cordele, Ken and Cindy Hauesler and Kirby and Connie Hauesler, all of Arabi; six grandchildren, Amy Hauesler, Justin Hauesler, Greg Hauesler, Robbie Hauesler, Drew Hauesler and Ivey Hauesler; a step-granddaughter, Carrie Lang; nine great-grandchildren; and two other special people in her life, sister-in-law, Grace Hauesler and nephew, Eddie &quot;Peanut&quot; Helms with whom she lived. Mr. Fenn is survived by his wife and the mother of his children, Judith Ann Slade Fenn of Cordele;  three children, Franklin Fenn and Ross Fenn, both of Charlotte, NC and Lessie Wade and her husband, Bobby of Cordele; a brother, Fred Fenn of Cordele; a sister, Rosalie Kingsley of Washington, DC; a grandson, Jackson Wade of Cordele; and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Mrs. Futch passed away Saturday at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL.  She was born in Tift County and was the daughter of the late William Minor  and Susie Emma Self Hawkins.  She lived most of her life in Crisp County prior to moving to Lake City to live with her daughter.  Mrs. Futch was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.  She is survived by three children and their spouses, Wayne and Becky Duckworth of Cordele, Allen and Lynn Futch of Valdosta and Susan and Danny MacFarland of Lake City, FL; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Sara Duckworth of Cordele, Stephanie O&#039;Neal of California, Timothy Wells and Amanda MacFarland, both of Lake City, FL, Amanda and Brian Bish of Madison, FL and Rebecca Sweatt and Shelly Sweatt, both of Valdosta; five great-grandchildren, Justin Duckworth, Catlynn Arnett and Mason Duckworth, all of Cordele and Jackson Bish and Laney Williamson of Madison, Fla.; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kyllie Arnett and Bradley Duckworth, both of Cordele; a sister and her husband, Carolyn and Jerry Chalker of Centerville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Duckworth and George Futch, Jr.; brothers, Charlie Hawkins, Otis Hawkins, and Alfred Hawkins; and a sister, Annie Ruth Brown.
